Volunteering
It’s simple – work a 3 hour shift at the upcoming sale and you get to shop early!

You can shop earlier than the general public and even the consignors.

Volunteers can shop starting at 4:30 PM on Friday, May 4th, for the pre-sale and again at 3:30 PM on Saturday, May 5th, for the half-price pre-sale!

Also, if you want to volunteer when your kids are in pre-school but can’t make the 3-hour shift – why not try our 2-hour shifts! You can still shop early during the volunteer presale on Friday night and the 1/2 price presale on Saturday evening, but there is no gift certificate for a 2 hour shift.

As an added bonus - For this sale, volunteers receive a $10 Encore Kids LLC Gift Certificate (per 3-hour shift worked) good for the 2012 Fall/Winter Sale!
If you work 2 three hour shifts – you will get 2 gift certificates,
If you work 3 three hour shifts – you will get 3 gift certificates, etc. (you get the idea)

Fine Print:

  • Each volunteer is given one pre-sale shopping pass. Spouses and friends may not shop early with you if they do not have a pass.
  • If you have to cancel for any reason, please find someone to take your place and please call or email us to tell us. We rely on our volunteers a lot! Thanks in advance.
  • Pre-sale passes will be mailed before the sale. You must have a pass to shop Friday night.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins. This will allow for time to get instructions and ask questions.
  • If you sign up to volunteer, please do not bring your children with you.
  • Volunteers must sign in and out in order to be assured of obtaining their gift certificate.
